“Similarly, encourage the young men to be self-controlled. In everything set them an example by doing what is good. In your teaching show integrity, seriousness and soundness of speech that cannot be condemned, so that those who oppose you may be ashamed because they have nothing bad to say about us.” (Titus 2:6-8)
For young men to develop into mature followers of Christ, they must have a venue to openly dialogue about questions of life and faith. In our ministry’s attempt to reach men, provide a healthy environment for discussion and offer the life changing encounter with Jesus, we are launching a new ministry to our boys. Rather than holding firm to the ol’ “because the Bible says so” answers, we want to help the young men of our District find open forums of discussion where they can hear and discuss the truth of the Gospel without it being threatening. They are looking for solid, biblical answers to life’s questions, so we are offering a new event designed especially for them. (Zacchaeus and Nicodemus are perfect biblical examples of the importance of open dialogue in matters of faith and life!)
MAN-Camp is coming up soon and we would like to see your young men there. This all-inclusive event is held at Timber Lake and will be fun and exciting, but also practical and powerful. Download the information and if you have questions, please contact us.
